LEAGUE FOOTBALL TOURS

The New Zealand footballers are to. bo entertained at a banauet in Sydney on 15th July by Mr" J. J. Smith, M.L.C., president of the N.S.W. League, aud two days, later are to leave for Auckland (writes our Australian correspondent). The New South Wales team is to leave for a tour of New Zealand on 17th August, and will be away approximately for a month. There will pfobably be twenty players in the combination, and each man will receive £3 per week. Should there be any profits — it is not anticipated that there will be— tho players will divide them. Mr Horace Miller, tho hon. treasurer of the league, and Mr Ernie Blue, of North Sydney, have been appointod managors of the tour.
