WINDOW-SMASHING
SEVERAL SUFFRAGETTES ARRESTED. By Telegraph. — Prew Association.— Copjrrleh*. (Received June 29, 11 a.m.) LONDON. 28th June. In connection with the female suffirftg* movement there has bjeu a recurrence of tile epidemic of window-smashing. Windows in public buildings at Manchceter, Ludlow, Hitchin, and Letehworth ; aieo at Clapharii and in Regent-street, London. Several suffragettes have been arrested, charged with damaging property. SHAKING THE PREMIER. THREATS OF, MORE SMASHING. (Received June 29, 12.30 p.m.) . LONDON, 28th June. There ha* also been window-smashing at Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Derby, Hkeijtone, and elsewhere. Notices were pasted in the broken windows protesting against the forcible feeding of the Suffragettes in prison, and warning the Government that there would be more smashing if women were not given, the vote. Two Suffragettes ceized and attempted to shako the Prittie Minister (Mr. Aeq^uith) at A Liberal-Colonial Club reception. The Suffragefct/fes were hurriedly, ejected. '
