COAL VEND APPEAL
m DEFENDANTS NOT UNANIMOUS. By Telegraph.— l»resi Association. -Copyright. MELBOURNE, 27fch June. During the ceneure debate in the Federal House, Mr. W. M. Hughes, Attor-'uey-Greneral, hinted at the probability of some of the defendants in the Coal Vend case not joining in the proposed appeal. Enquiry in well-informed' circles indicates that Mr. Hughes's belief k wellfounded, and that it is probable that the colliery owners will not be represented in the appeal to the High Court.
