ENGLAND 4 FOR 241 SECOND DAY'S PLAY RAIN STOPS MATCH. Bj Telegraph.— Vieu Association.— Copyright. (Received June 26, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 25th June. Rain fell overnight and early this morning, delaying ithe resumption of the play in the Test Match Australia v. England. When play ceased on Monday the Englishmen had 211 up for four wickets. The score was carried to 241 -without further loss, ,when rain put an end to play for the day. A start, was made at 10.30 in cloudy and misty weather, and before 6000 people. The wicket was on the soft side. Fry (24) took Wcolley in with him y Emery and Hazlitt bowled. With th<3 score 241 rain again stopped play. A period of sunshine followed, and at 5 o'clock the wicket was inspected, and also at 5.30. Stumps were drawn at 5.45. Fry was 41 not out, and he had shown a weak defence.
