DEFECTIONS FROM TURKISH JROOPS JOINING THE INSURGENTS MISLED BY OFFICERS. By Telegrapn.— Preei Association.— Copyright. (Received June 25, 10.30 a.m.) ATHENS, 25t& June. It is reported that a squadron of Turkish cavalry and 400 officers and men have deserted at Monastir and joined the insurgents. Turkish reports minimise the desertion, but admit that nine officers and fifty Albanians have deserted. Some arrests were made and others surrendered. The men declare that they were misled by the officers.
