SCENES AT FIGHTS AT DIEPPE CARPENTIER ENRAGED WILD EXCITEMENT. Bjr Telegraph.— frees Aisoclitioa.— Copyright. (Received June 26, 11 a.m.) •LONDON, 25th June. Further particulars of the scene which, occurred' at' the fight between Frank Klaus (America) aad Georges Carpentier (France) for the middle-weight bout at Dieppe show that there were four thousand spectators present, including many women. Amid a wild. Bcene of excitement, Dcamps, his manager, seized Carpentier by the waist. The boxer, enraged, fought to free himself, but was forced out of the ring. A burly figure seized Decamps and threw him over the ropes among the spectators. Afterwards, Everendon (England) refused to stop fighting with Bernard (France), and' Maitron, a powerfullybuilt referee, lifted Everendon twice and flung him to the boards. This caused a sensation, and officials, boxers, and their friends poured into the ring. About thirty free fights were commenced, and the building was the scene of a pandemonium. The gendarmes present were reinforced, and the festival broke up in confusion.
