CATHOLIC REUNION.

Hall's Rooms, Cuba-etreet, were filled last evening, the occasion being a reunion between the members of Uie Wellington Catholic Club and the Marist Bros. Old Boys' Concert Company, of Auckland. Mr. J. M'Gowan, vice-president ot the Wellington Catholio Club, presided, and was supported by Mr. P. J. Clarko (musical director), Her. Fathers C. J* Vemnng and J. Herring. Among tho toasts honoured were: — "Tho Marist Bros. Old Boys.' Coueerfc Company," proposed by tho chairman and responded to by tho musical director, Mr. P. J. Ckrko, and Mr T. Gubcott; "Tho Wtslhngton Catholio Club," proported by Mr. F. Adoatio and icspouded io by Mr. W. C. Thomas, hou. secretary; "The Federated Catholic Clubs of New Zealand," proposed by Mr. P. J. M'Govern, replied to by Messrs. H. M'Keowen and J. L. Loydon; "The Clergy," ptoposod by Mr. R. G. Butcher and responded to by Rev. Fathers Yenning and Herring; "Kindred Sooieties," proposed by Mr. J. «r. Sullivan, response Bros. J. W. Callaghun and P. D. Hoekins (Hibernian Society). Musical items were contributed nfc intervals by Mwwrs. E. J. Heutey. E. B. L. Retulo, tho AuottluiKl Concert Company, Mi\ F. Burke, St. Anne's Club Trio (Messrs. Koado and Foote, 2), Me«sra J. Lonorgan (Auckland), N. Twohill (Auckland), mid S. Pi-itehurd. The excellence of the visitors' items augurs well tor the success of the tour on the We3t Coast.
