DEATH OF ENVER BEY,
SUCCUMBS TO GANGRENE. (Received April 24, 10.5 a.m.) ROME, 23rd April. Advices from Cairo stalo that Enver Bey, leader of the Young Turkish Party, who was on his way homeward, 6uccumber at Mariut from.' Gangrene, the ve6ult of a wound received in a baitle. The Turkish authorities were concealing his death ' [Major Enyer Bey, one of Turkey's foremost military men, was the hero, with Niazi Bey, of the Young Turltß Revolution. Early in the war he volunteered to organise the various Arab tribca of Turkey for home defence in the interior of Tripoli.]
