SHOOTING SEASON PROSPECTS
AUCKLAND, 23rd April. Next week the shooting season opens, and imported game (including pheasants and Califorinan quail, and native duck and teal) aro reported to be plentiful in most parts of the Auckland district. In the more settled parts of the district, of course, the birds are not so numerous.
