Fordham (Otago), W. X Wolte (Southland), W. Reynolds (Poverty Bay) d W. Mathieson .(treasurer),, and B. L. Salmon (secretary). The following extract of ai letter re. ceived from the eecrefcary of the champion team of France was read : "Our champion team would like to organise, for the first time among all French clubs, a tour in Australia; I hope that our proposition may interest you; therefore, I take tho pleasure to submit it. to you, trusting that it may be realised. Awaiting your kind, reply, etc.— Henri Gasquetori." The secretary' was instructed to forward a copy of this letter to Mj\ A. E. Gibbs, the council's London representative, and ask him <to enquire into the , matter. In a communication froni the secretary of the Manawatu •ABsoeiatiotf, it was Btated that a boys' association would be in full, awing at the end of the present month.
