On Saturday the local wheat market reached the highest point for the eeaecn, 3s 7d being given at country stations for any good lines, and up to 2© 7£d for pearl. The' market has since eaeed a little, and buyers are not co disposed to give the outside price. At the same time the firming of the market hae made grower* less, keen -to sell, and offerings have, therefore eased oft" somewhat. Then? is no change in the oats market. Potatoes are firm at £4 at country stations. Onions are now quoted' at £7 to £7 se, and shipment*? aie now being made to Sydney.
