PERSISTENT AGITATION TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —Just a word with "Springboard." Is Brooklyn more entitled to cold water bathi Ihim Northland, Wadcstown, orKelburne, and should £750 be placed on the -estimates for such a purpose when the--suburbs named cannot boast a decent footpath; in fact, very very few, footpaths of any sort at all? Would Brooklyn havo been promised the £750 if it had not been "engineered by tho local Ratepayers' Association, and two years' persistent agitation?" Is it not time we had at least one strong man in tho council to protect the suburbs equitably, pi* are they all to be forced^into tho position of "engineering" and "persistent agitation"? —l am, etc., MIGHT APPEARS TO BE RIGHT. April 22nd.
