DEER-SHOOTERS WARNED
Persons who yearn for many-pointed antlers are warned that they must not hunt in the catchment area of theWainui waterworks. Tbi« timber and water reserve is exempted from, the area in which deer may be shot. Deerstalkers have proved themselves a nuisance in the past in the- catchment area and the City Council has therefore resolved to be on guard against these sportsmen. Persons detected shooting, or trying to shoot, deer on the area specified will be prosecuted.
