Vessels arriving at Mobile, Alabama, from Panama report a violent eruption on the Chiriqui Peak, near Boca del Tore Hundreds of Indians have perished. A wholG village has been -wiped out. The volcano was never before known to be active. Olouds of duet have been wafted out to eea, and rocks thrown a hundred feet airwards.
