DAIRY SALE.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Pahncrston North, report having held a successful dairy sale on account of Mr. W. B. V. Pearce, at his farm, Jackeytown, on Wednesday. There was a very large attendance of buyers, and tho 160 <-owe and heifers offered met v/ith a keen /iemand. Quotations: — Forward empty cows to £4, three-quarter cows £5 to £7, spring calvers £7 to £10, cows calved from six weeks to two months £6 to 10 guineas, springers £9 to £12, cows just calved £11 to £15 10s. bulk £3 17s 6d to 4 guineas, dairy heifers £4 15e 6d to £6 ss ; three-year hack £7 2s 6d, threeyear gelding £10, three-year half draught £24 ss, seven-year milk cart mare £28, one gig £23 15s.
