ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
REFEREES* ASSOCIATION. The seventeenth annual meeting; ot the Wellington .Referees' Association was held at the V.M.C.A. rooniß last evening, .Mr. C. E. Fordham pipsiding. The report and balance-sheet were adopted, and the election of officers resulted follows : — President, Mr. C. E. Fordhmn; vice-presidents, Messrs. B. L. Salmon and J. B. Paton.,- management committee, Messrs. Windley, W. E. Wells, E. S. Lithgow, J. luce; hon. secretary, Mr. A. F. Newbold; lion treasui'er, Jlr. C. K. Dick; auditor, Mr. A. G. Barnett ; delegate to New Zealand Referees' Association, Mr. W. E^ Wells; appointment board, Messrs.. B. 'L. Salmon, H. L. Godber, and the secretary, ex officio. It was decide 4 that the New Zealand Referees' Association be asked to forward the results of the- last examinations' 'as soon as possible. The appointment of an examination board was held over until a future date, and it wa-s suggested that the matter should be left in the hauds of the New Zealand Association.
