PERSONAL MATTERS.
Mr. J. Eitchie, a director of the Union Steam Ship Company, returned to Wellington from Sydney yesterday. Mr. J. T. Hawthorn, of Lower Hutt, returned yesterday from a. visit to the Auckland district. The Very Rev. Father Griffiths, Provincial of the Redemporist Order from Ireland, who ha* been visiting the houses of the Order in the Dominion, arrived in Wellington yesterday, acconipamed by the Rev. Father Murray, CSS. K.
