The National Sheepbreederc' Association wrote stating that the Thirteenth International Conference would be held on let July, and "that the council would be pleased to welcome any repreeentativeri from the Government or assucia* tions interested in sheep-breeding. It was resolved to inform the New Zealand Romney Marsh Breeders' Association, the Lincoln Breeders' Association, and the lS r ew Zealand Sheepbrcedere* Association that , Messrs. Batefllio and Batchelor were going Home, and would be willing to act as representatives. , Nineteen new members were elected. A letter was als>o lead from the Minister for Agriculture stating. that he would be pleased to represent to the Railway Department the importance of {jiving every encouragement to associations in the valuable work they are doing for the live stock industries of th>> Dominion in connection with the prcpotf&l to secure special trains for the conveyance of live stock to the principal agricultural shows of tho North Island. Mr. R. Stevens wrote tendering his resignation as a member of the committee owing to inability to attend meetings. It was decided to ask him to reconsider hi 6 decision. It was decided to recommend the annual meeting to give official recognition to the msny services rendered the association by Mr. S. Standen. Mr. J. M. Johnston gave notice of motion that the resolution that the annual meeting be held prior to the Winter Show be reerinded.
