WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. The fixtures and grounds' for to-mor-row'e matches, which are tho last of the Wednesday inter-club games, are as folio w : — Senior.-— Artillery v. Post and Telegraph, No. 1 Basin Reserve ; Vivian v. Hival6, No. 2 Basin Reserve. Junior.— Artillery v. Union, No. 4 Basin Reserve. The Wednesday representative match will be played at the Basin Reserve on Easter Monday and Tuesday, Bth and 9th April. The Auckland team will arrive bj the express on Eastet Saturday. SATURDAY MATCHES. JUNIOR. Playing against Catholic Club, Wellington College, on the first day compiled 172 runs for their first innings. The match wa& concluded on Saturday, when Catholic Club responded with eight wickets- down for 247 runs (Casey 67, teydou 62, Warne 45, Carrutheia 19, and O'Donohuo 14). Wellington College in their second venture had four wicketft down for 66 runs when time was called, Catholic* Club thus v/inning on the first innings. THIRD CLASS. Templars defeated College A, by 51 runs on the first innings. Templars, batting first, scored 150 runs for the loss of nine wickets, the chief scorers being : — Blenkinsop 40 not out, Dooley 57, Winter 37, Sauvarin 11. College replied with 99. For the witters, Dooley took six wickets for 54 runs. This win gives Templars an undisputable lead for the championship.
