The final for rink championship on Saturday resulted in Mitchell's rink again Becuring_ tho honours, the scores being: — D. Claridgo, Pilkington, Jones, Mitchell (skip), 21 ; Nicol, Shepherd, Penney, Kinniburgh (skip), 13. Tho gamo was very closely contested, the scores being oven on five separate heads. Tho losing team anchored on the fateful "13" for five heads. jfn tho semi-final for the club pairs darkness stopped the play with A. Claridge and ~ Kinniburgh six points up against Shepherd and Laurenson on the thirteenth head. Harry Ballinger and M'Whannoll succeeded in wresting the Diamond 'Buckles from Frost' and Brunskill xm" the Wellington green, and promptly received a challenge for next Saturday from Webb and Thompson, of tho Wellington Club. The Karori juniors did not turn up to compete for tho Junior Stars, and the latter are therefore still held by Hataitai.
