Ou Satuiduy the Port Nicholson Yacht Club held two races, thq To Aro Sailing Club ono, and the Motor Bout Club one. Tho weather conditions were excellent, and Eome good racing was tvitiiesbud. First-clubs Yachts.— Mahina, 12min. I; Murifciii, 15inin, 2; Siren, 16miu, 3. Four yachts compoted. The limit bout, Viking, cro&sed the line one minute late, tho rest of the competitors getting good starts. The Mahina and Muritui had a great struggle for first pluce, tho former jubt getting home a few seconds ahead of her rival. The times were as follow: — Mahina, 5h 33m 10s. Muritai, 5h 33m 45b ; Siren, 5h 44m; Viking (28m), 5h 46m. The scratch yacht, Waitangi, was cruising around, but did not start in the race. Secoud-clasß Yachts. — Lizzie, scr, 1; Taipuri, sor, 2. • Won easily. Times: — Lizzie, 5n l&n} ; Tuipari, 5h 33m in 35seo ; Rawene (12rnin), 5h 35m.
