SATURDAY'S MATCHES. Beautiful bowling weather provailed on Saturday, and boiuo pleasant inter-club games woro played. [ EDWIN FEATHERS. i A match for lho Edwin Feathers was Played between tho holders of tho Karori Club—Sunloy, Bennett. M'Lcnnan, Crawford (skip) and a challenging: team from Kelburnp. consisting of Munley Macarfchur, Gray, Kelly (skip). Tho gamo was most enjoyable throughout. Karori led ott with S, but by the 6th head Kolburno was 5 and Karori 4. For tho next four heads Karori scored, and woro 9 to Kolbu'-no's 5. A* tho 18th head Kolburno was 14, and Karori 18, and after that tho visitors did not score again. By tho 2lßt head Karori was 7 up. This head waa worthy of remurk. First it was made doad, and when tho skips finally went down only four bowls were on tho green — tho result of driving. Crawford took ono of tho opponents' bowls out, and then lay 2. Kelly jubt. missed making a dead headleaving only threo bowls on tho ground, lho scoro was Karori 23, Kelburno 14. On Saturday noxt Karori will meet a challenging team from Nowtown. NEWTOWN v. Brackenridge) has had further success, having beaten Blund by 15 to 1, J. Pollock by 17 to 15, Richards by 31 to 13, and Duff by 25 to 17. PRESS v. TIIORNDON. Two rinks of pressmen played two rinks from the Thorndou Club, and a very even and highly enjoyable game resulted. One- rink finished up level after having tied on eight different heads, and the other won by a singlo point, secured by the skip with his last bowl try aoout two inches.
