SATURDAY'S GAMES. The various oity and duburban greens wore fully occupied on Saturday afternoon, and several interesting inter-club games were played. The Nelson visitors were the guests of tho Thorndon Club, afc whoso hands 'they suffered defeat, and were subsequently entertained in the pavilion, tho president (Mr. E. \V. Seaton) extending, 011 behalf of the club, a hoarty welcome, and expressing tho hopo that their Visit would be fn annual fixture. Hamilton, Gt. Brown, Churohward (skip). The challengers won by five points after an interesting game. EDWIN BUCKLES. The Edwin Buokles are now hold bj the NewtttWn Club. On Saturday a visiting rink of the dlreotor* of Victoria Club, consisting of Kellow, Longmore, Townsend, and Keith (skip), beat Willidtas, Baillie, Mitchell, and Lautenson (skip) by 22 to 16j tho Victoria men scoring 6 in the last head. Thb final game of the senior singles championship Was pkyed between Topp and M'Whannoll, and was won by tho latter, Who will now represent the club in the champion of champions' Contest next month. The junior singles has been Won by A. Clandge. In the semi-finals for the olub's pairs Shepherd and Lauronson play A. Clandge and Kinniburgh, and Matthews and PryOr play Robortß and Smith.
