It is reported that the British Consul at Hodeida has requested his Government to send a warship there^ as the Italians are threatening to Tiombard ' the town. \ ] [Hodeida is a, large fortified town and i the most flourishing seaport in Yemeh, Arabia, on the east coast of the Red Sea'.J Riza Bey and four others on board the steamer Africa have been released. SEIZURE OF SHIPS. COMMISSION ToIrRANGE MARITIME MODUS VIVENDI. PARIS, 30th January. France and Italy are contemplating a mixed Commission to devise means of preventing the recurrence of seizures of ships and to arrange for a maritime modus vivendi during the war.
