The report of the Royal Commission thi* v enquired into the trouble between Mr. Willis, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and Mr. Robinson, head of the Hansard staff, finds that Mr. Willis acted within his powers and had' f;ood grounds for suspending Robinson or insubordination in connection with certain letters he wrote to Mr. Willis. The report points out that Robinson laboured under erroneous conclusions and was denied, under the new Parliamentary regulations, an opportunity of putting himself fully right with the Speaker. MR. ROBINSON'S ABILITY. (Received January 31, 10.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The commissioner says that he wishes I to make it perfectly clear' that not one word was said against Mr. Robinson's ability.
