The Westminster Gazette reminds Mr. Shuster that the Mejlies was not entitled to transfer the country's finance to a foreign controller without reference to the other Governments interested. -Mr. Shuster unwittingly placed Sir Edward Grey in a position of great embarrassment towards Pbfsia : on the one hand and towards Russia on the other. The Gazette concludes by trusting that the Anglo-Russian entente would safeguard Persia's independence.
