HIS LAST ILLNESS. OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. ' By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. . (Received January 31, 2 p.m.) CAIRO, 30lh January. It is officially announced that the Duke of Fife became ill .on the 19th instant, and that pleurisy appeared on the 21st. His temperature was normal until Thursday last, but the left lung was congested and heart trouble appeared On Friday there was increasing heart failure, which continued to increase until his death. The faculties were unimpaired, until just before he passed away. LONDON, 30th January. .Their Majesties the King and Queen curtailed their Gibraltar programme owing to the death of the Duke of Fife.
