MR. CHURCHILL'S ULSTER MEETiNQ. By Telegraph.— PreGg Association.— Copyriglit, LONDON, 29th January. Mr. Churchill, replying to Lord Londonderry, denies that ho selected Ulster Hall for his meeting as a challenge to Uleter men.
The machinery at the pumping station at Lower Hutt has again been the causeof a great deal of trouble. Both pumpe have been going wrong, necessitating continual attention, and being a source of much anxiety to the engineering Staff. They are working a little better, but are etill somewhat unsatisfactory. •It ehould not be long now before the new t £um£ ordered i& installed.
