YACHTING.
WELLINGTON CRUISING CLUB. The Wellington Cruising Yacht Club held the third of the series of aggregate points' races on Saturday. Wind and weather were propitious to yachtsmen, and all craft carried full sail. The start was made at 2.45 p.m., the order being White Heather, Rona, Ailsa, Windward, and Kotiri. The course was to the Pinnacles Buoy and return and the finishing times were : White. Heather (3min), 4hr 27min, first j Ailsa (3min),'' 4hr 41min, Rona (scr), 4hr 42min \3osec, Kotiri (lOmin), 4hr 45min, third ; Windward (13min), 4hr second. The points in the aggregate now stand : Kotiri 13, I Windward 10, Ailsa 8, Rona 7, and White Heather 7. PORT NICHOLSON YACHT CLUB. ! The Port. Nicholson Yacht Club held the third of its series of club picnics on Saturday afternoon at Scorching. Bay. A programme of sports completed a very enjoyable outing.
