SWIMMING.

MEETING OF WELLINGTON CENTRE. Afc last night' 6 meeting of thd Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association there .were present — Messrs. J A. Atkins (in the chair), A. A. Sommerville, W. # G. Morpeth, R. Baker, and E. J. Fleming. _ It was decided that, the City Council be. oommunicated with in reference to the yearly bath tickets, and stated that the tickets be available at both baths. An the conditions are now, a person can only use a 10s 6d ticket at the, baths where he purchased it. The swimmers would like to see these made available at bothTe Aro and Thorndon. Permission was granted to the Wellington* Club to hold a night, carnival at Te Aro early in February. A selection committee to pick the Wellington polo team to represent the centre at Chrktchurch next month was chosen as follows : — Messrs. G. Sadd, A. A. Sommerville, and R. Healy. Messrs. Atkins, Bhok, Wilton, and Sommerville were appointed a committee to revise the rales. , A change of dttte from 17th Febiuaiy io 10th "February for the Old Boys' Club Carnival was authorised. A conference of 6wimmers is to be held in Chmtehurch ne-xt month — in championship week — and Messrs. Atkins and Blick were appointed to represent the Wellington Centre. SWIFTS CLUB.
