The half-yearly reports of the Mount Morgan mine states that tne , total levenuo amounted to £452,336, and the expenditure to £381,732. During the half-year 179,177 tohs of ore, including 43,131 tons of basic ore from Many Peaks, were treated, producing 3698 tons of copper and 63,197 ounces of gold. The company proposes to pay a divi. dend of Is per share, to place £24,000 in the depreciation fund, and bring for-, ward £2188. The previous report stated that when ore from Many Peaks was available there would be a larger production of blister copper, and the cost of treatment would be substantially reduced. These anticipations, however, have not been realised, one difficulty being tfee insufficient power plant, which disability in being removed.'
