WEATHER CONDITIONS.
The weather in Wellington has im- - proved, but from the point of view of the Dominion as a whole it shows no signs of settling down. There were heavy thunderstorms along the East Coast last night, and similar disturb ances may be looked for in various parts of the country. Changeable weather may still be looked' for generally, particularly in the far north-west, and the prospects of a fine spell are becoming "fine by degrees and beautifully kes." »
