Kelly, Rona Ba.y. has won tne 45-guinea annual scholarship, tenable for two years, at the Marist Brothers' Sacred Heart College, Auckland. Smith, general manager ol the Irite-rnatiohal Corresporldehce Schools, Ltd., returns to Wellington from Sydney via Auckland to-morrow night. M¥. Smith, who hus-been continually on the move for some time past in connection with the business of the * schools, now intends to reside permanently in Wellington. ■ Archdeacon Harper^ of Timaru, who shortly leaves the Dominion to reside in England, Was entertained at a farewell function at Bifihopscourt, Chrietchurch, 'yesterday. Bishop Julius, in presenting Archdeacon Harpeif with a small ptose of money from his t friends outside Timaru, referred in feeling and appropriate terms to his long services to the Church 6f NeW Zealand, and to the ( ' universal affection and esteem in which he is held.
