LOCAL BODIES ASSOCIATION AND LABOUR.
AUCKLAND, 21st December. The Auckland Suburban Local Bodies' Association decided this evening to apply to the. General Labourers Union for exemption from the demands now being mad© by the union upon the employers of labour. It was resolved, if the* exemptions are not granted, not to depart from the provisions of the Arbitration Act in dealing with the dispute.
