THE DOCK STRIKE.
'A number of New .Zealand ve«ela Were caught at an awkward moment by the strike of the London dockers, but so far no great loss or inconvenience has been suffered. The lonic's passengers Vieto able to get their luggage ashore with the assistance of the company's shore staff, and the London Port Authority came to the rescue to enable the'Rotorua to sail last evening. The Kaikoura, Rakaia, Niwaru, and Opawa are all ill port, but there is no danger of damage to refrigerated cargo. So far there has been no violence to speak of.
