WELINGTON v. WAIEARAPA. *BT TSLEOBAPH— S?2CiAL TO 1"&E y&ST.} CARTERTON. 261h A/ognst. Tho Wellington Senior B team was defeated by the Wairarapa representatives to-day by three to nil. Boyd (2) and Lindersort (1) were tho Bun'ors. Tho ground was dry, but bumpy, which hampered the Wellington playors. Cameron (Government Insurance) played a solH game at half, as did Leo pavies in goal. Wairarapa used their stick* very weil on the bumpy ground. Mr. Pragucll referesd. The junior representative game between Wellington and Wairarapa resulted in a win for Wellington by two goals to nil, scored by Tcvrsley and Bennett. Palmer find Williams played well in the half line, and Tnmpleton gave a fine display as goal-keeper.
