IMMENSE FOREST FIRE,

Advices from St. John's, Newfoundland, state that an immense forest fire is threatening the paper pulp mills in the Exploits River district. The workmen employed at the Harmsworth mills are out fire-fighting. A huge area of country is threatened. The wind v«vered later, and saved the pulp nrillft nt Bishop* Falls, on the Exploits River, but enormous destruction has been done to the forest wealth.
