CHRISTCHURCH NORTH SEAT.
ELECTION IN A FORTNIGHT. The Speaker of the House of Representatives has received formal notification of the death of the member for Ghristehurch North (Mr. T, E. Taylor), and when the House meete tonight it will be aaked to pans a resolution ordering the tesue to the Clerk of Write ot the warrant for an election. The wrib will be returnable within twenty-one days, and as a week must be allowed for a possible second ballot, *he date of the election mitet be ia about a fortnight.
