The town team's victory was entirely diw to the fino play of the forward*. Petoue commenced well, and a neat pawing rush ©flded in J. Ryan scoring. Petotie were penned down practically all the time after the interval, but Wellington failed to score, and it was left to Sheridan to place his team in the lead, two ftne penalty kicks finding the poste.
