WON BY .WELLINGTON, The final of the> Junior Championship, played at the Athtetne Park on Satuiv 3»y, between th* Petono and Wellington teams, resulted in ft -win for Wellington by 6 points to 3. The town team's victory was entirely diw to the fino play of the forward*. Petoue commenced well, and a neat pawing rush ©flded in J. Ryan scoring. After this, litwevai*) the yellow and black vanguard took charge, and until no-side aofttmated the play. Petotie were penned down practically all the time after the interval, but Wellington failed to score, and it was left to Sheridan to place his team in the lead, two ftne penalty kicks finding the poste.
