BOWLING.
KELBURNE CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Kclbttrne Bowling Club on Friday, it was decided to make a house-to-house cartvaAs of the district, with a view to increasing the membership to ninety. Messrs E, C. Gannaway. R. E. Manley, and W, Drury were elected to the directorate. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows :-— President, Mr. Alexander Johnston; vice-president, Mr. E. C. Gannaway (re-elected) ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. 0. A. Marquis; hon. auditor, Mr. R. W. M'Villy (re-elected) 5 delegate to Northern Bowling Association, Mr. A. \V. Blanchard ; delegates to Wellington centre, Messrs, A. Johnston and C. A. Marquis. A vote of thanks was avcorded the retiring president, Mr. J. C. Williamson. Trophies won during the year were presented. ' The ' following were the prize-winners: —Mr. M, Routley was for a second "time 1 the successful competitor for the Dinnie Challenge Cup, which also carried with it the championship of the club. Mr. T. Gray was the runiler-up. The President's Bowls were won by Mr, J. C. Williamson. Mr. D. Millar, the *un-ner-up, also wins a pair of bowls. The vice-president's bowls (junior) were won by Mr. A. Scott, with Mr. P. M'Coll second. Messrs. Knowles and A. Johnston Won the trophies presented by Messrs. E. W. Mills and Co. and Mr. E. S, Baldwin.
