NEW YORK, 28th July. § Eight persons have been killed and sixty injured i in a collision between a negro excursion train nnd a freight train, at Charlotte, North Carolina, CARS ROLL DOV~n" AN EMBANKMENT. FIFTY PERSONS INJURED. (Received July 29, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, 28th July. An excursion train on the Lehigh Valley railroad wa« derailed, and tho Pullman care rolled down an embankment, Fifty persons were injured. One woman may die.
