o MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE. . At last night's meeting of the Management Committee of .the Wellington Lacrosse Association (Mr. A. H. Casey presiding) it was decided that, providing necessary details can be arranged, the annual representative match with Auckland be played either on Coronation Day (22nd June) or- Saturday, 24th June. Favourable consideration was given a proposal made by the chairman that such Auckland and Wellington representative players as could maka the trip should combine with leading Christchurch players in giving an exhibition of lacrosse in the Cathedra' City towards the end of June. It was also resolved that endeavours be made to arrange for exhibition matches in other leading provincial towns, with a view to the further promotion of. the game. Mr. A. C. Jantke was appointed sole selector of the representative teams. It was resolved to play four rounds in the Proud Cup competition and that the cup be engraved each y-ear with, the name of the winning club, but may never be won outright, thus constituting the cup a perpetual trophy for local competition. .Caps will be presented by

tlie association to the members of the champion team, and it is confidently expected that some generous supporter of lacrosse will donate caps for the representative team. Practical tuition, in the game will be given to beginners, and a cordial welcome will be extended to new players. A match for junior players and beginners will be played every Saturday afternoon on No. 2 ground, Duppa-street Reserve.
