WORKERS' TICKETS.
ON MUNICD7AL TRAMWAYS. SYSTEM TO OPERATE FROM MONDAY. It will be pleasant news to the workers t>i the city that tne privilege tickets on the municipal tramways, promised them bo long ago ac last spring, will be available for use from Monday next. > The ' Order-in-Council has emerged from its ewathinge of Ted tape and now the way is clear. Th© new arrangement enables zi worker to take a retr-rn ticket for a single fare (with a minimum of 2d) at any city terminus before 7.30 a.m. The ticket will permit of return by* any car leaving a city terminus not later than 6.30 p,m. on ordinary week days, or 1.30 p.m. on Saturdays. It is anticipated on all hand 6 that the new eystem will be a decided improvement on the old special "workers car," patronised by everybody and anybody.
