LATE SPORTING. » RICCARTON TRACK WORK. ("BY TELEGBAPH — PHESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. To-day was an' off day at Riccarton. Cronstadt covered two strong circuits. Sharpshooter did the last half mile of two circuit* in 55 2-ssec. R-ose Noble galloped a mile in lmin 49 4-ssec. Half to steady pacing was done, by the other horses out. Cheddar, Montiform, and Royal Scotch arrived yesterday, and did steady pacing this morning. After breakfast, Los Angelos covered two circuits at three-quarter pace, and Colleen Mary seven furlongs at a strong pace. No fast work was done. The dry weather continues, and many horses at headquarters are sore.
