WRECK OF THE NEW GUINEA.
CREW REACH SYDNEY. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 16th February. Several of the crew of the steamer New Guinea, which went on the rocks at Green Cape, and has been abandoned, have arrived in Sydney. They state that when the vessel struck she almost ripped her bottom out, and it was quickly apparent that ehe waa doomed. There was great difficulty ia lowering the boats, owing to the heavy, swell. Heavy rain and fog added to th« discomfort, and the exposure severely affected some of tho crew.
