M.P., is in Wellington in connection with a number of ' local matters he wants to bring under I the attention of Ministers. ' I For the month of December the Cheltenham Co-operative Dairy Company paid to its suppliers the sum of £2654 — which was at the rate of 10gd per lb for butter-fat. No fewer than nine cricket teams, comprising five from Feilding clubs, a-nd the others from country districts (Cheltenham, Colyton, Halcombe, and R<ongotea) are competing for the Guthrie Shield, which is the district championship. Feilding A team, with one match to go in the second round,' is leading with 12 gointß, and there are. five ties
for second place, with 10 points each. Rongotea and Feilding C have 3 points j each, and Feilding B 2 points.
