AUCKLAND REGATTA. fUT TELEGRAPH — KRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 20th January. For the annual regatta which was held on the Wa.temata Harbour to-day splendid yachting weather prevailed.. There was a fresh south-easterly breeze and overcast sky. Great interest was taken in the regatta by large crowds which viewed the races from the flagship Atua, and from every point of vantage round the harbour. Taking the aftair all round, it was in every way a success, the entries being numerous and competition, especially among the trading cutters and scows, very keen. i
