SESSION ENDED. TEAVELLING SCHOLAESHIPS. ' [BY TELEGRAPH — PE,ESS ASSOCIATION.] CHEISTCHURCH, 30fch Jan. The Senate of the University of New Zealand concluded its session to-day, the Chancellor (Sir Robert Stout) presiding. Professor R. J. Scott moved : — "That £150 per annum b& allotted to tho engineering travelling scholarship ; that one such scholarship be granted" for the year 1912; that the Recess Committee on Architecture be termed the Rocess Committee on Engineering and Architecture, and draw up regulations dealing with this scholarship, to be submit, ted to the Senate at the meeting of 1912." The amount was reduced to £100, and the motion carried. The next session will open at Wellington on 20th January, 1912.
