' At the enquiry into the. murder of the French Jew Beron, whose body waa found at Clapham Common at the beginning of the month, Eva Flittermau withdrew her testimony that she saw Morrison wearing a five-pound piece aa a pendant attached to his watch-chain, saying that what she caw looked like a, shilling. The Magistrate is considering whether he should commit her for perjury. Layman, a cabman, tesified that h« drove Morrison and another man from the cornea- of Sidney-street to Claphain.
