THE ENTRIES. Great interest is being taken in the New Zealand swimming championship meeting, which commences at Te Aro Baths next Saturday. At the time of writing the Auckland entries had not come to hand, but they were expected to arrive by this afternoon's mail. The local entry-sheets do not close imtil this evening. With regard to water-polo, it is the intention of Wellington to enter an A and a B team. There will be no ladies* championship, as was suggested, this requiring an alteration in the rules, •which could not be effected at so short a notice. j
